Todd would have to be the biggest influence on my artistic endevors .
His art was always flamboyantly exciting and his over usage of line texturing let kids know that going nuts on your pages is OK.
The Spawn/Batman issue had my favorite writer, Frank miller  teaming up with Todd . You'll get to see Frank down this page.
 
 

Greg Capullo

                          
 
Greg would have to be a the largest contributor to my advancing interest into illustration.   I followed his Krash Course newsletters in Wizard magazine very closely . I am pretty damn good at human anatomy because of those things .  I even met Greg at a comic convention in Toronto and I remember one thing he said after I asked him if I should go to school before jumping into the comic scene :" If you  have it , you have it . you don't need all those courses"
Well thanks but no thanks Greg ,because I'm in Art school right now and i think it helps a whole damn lot!!!
I did get some autographs from him on some books of his, like the one above.
 
 

 

Frank Miller

 
                     
 
I think I learned how to shade my drawings basically by reading his books.   Frank would have to be the best user of positive/negative space in the field and his writing skills can't be beat.
